- The provision of objective information and the formulation of proposals, in
order that the Institute contributes to the formulation of policies, with the

purpose of the adjustment of the Greek commerce and services to the European

and global economic standards.
- The development of the institutions of corporate social responsibility,
corporate governance and business ethics in enterprises, commerce and

services.

- The dissemination of the produced knowledge to the members of the ESEE
and the members thereof, the organisations of the services and the members

thereof, the businesses, commerce and services, the public authorities, the
institutions of the European Union and any and every legal or natural person

of the private or public sector who shall be deemed expedient by the Board of

Directors of the Company.
- The via the produced work increase and utilization of the resources, which

are directed to the enterprises of commerce and services.
- The cooperation with respective organizations, enterprises or agencies of

inland or overseas.

- Any other scope to the benefit of the enterprises of commerce, services and
in general the tertiary sector.

- For the realization of its purposes, $$$ especially:
- Creates the required to this effect material technical infrastructure with the

necessary staffing.
- Cooperates with employers’ and employees’ organizations as well as with

agencies similar or related to $$$ or private individuals on a national, European

and international level.
- Cooperates with Public or private organizations, educational institutions

and scientific agencies of Greece and overseas.
- Assesses and drafts public, national and European actions, strategies and

policies which pertain to commerce and services.
- Participates in forms and bodies which perform certification of knowledge,

skills and qualifications and produces the necessary to this effect accreditation.

- Implements or / and participates in national or European programmes for the

support on all the levels of the enterprises of commerce and services.
