by any other method appropriate in accordance with the orders and the instructions of
the Network Operator and / or the System Operator. In the event of the non - availability
of successfully certified consumption metering readings, in accordance with the
provisions of the Networks Operation Codes, the consumption Bill is issued for the
corresponding term on the basis of the metering data estimated by the competent
Network Operator, in accordance with the metering correction and assessment
procedure specified in the respective Network Operation Code. In this event the Bill
contains a related note and a summary description of the computation method of the
charges on the basis of the estimated consumption in accordance with the data contained
relevantly by the competent Operator.
5.3. In the event that an hourly meter is not installed in the installations of the Customer,
the Supplier shall request jointly with the Customer (by means of an authorization,
where necessary) to the competent Operator the installation of an hourly medium-
voltage load meter and of the other related equipment. The related cost shall be borne
by the Customer.
5.4. In the event that the Customer becomes aware that the meter has sustained a
damage or failure, he must immediately notify the Supplier and the Network Operator.
The Customer has a right to request a meter inspection by the competent Operator,
either via the Supplier or directly, informing in such case the Supplier. The Supplier
has also the right to request the inspection of a meter. The Supplier is obligated to
inform the Customer concerning the filing of an inspection request for his meter, the
time of conduct and the inspection results. The Customer may be present during the
conduct of the inspection of his meter. The applicant (Customer or Supplier) bears the
cost of the inspection and the tests, if it is established that the metering of the absorbed
energy is correct, otherwise the cost is borne by the competent Network Operator. The
accuracy or inaccuracy of the meter is judged pursuant to the relevant provisions of the
Electricity Transactions Code and the standing legislation in general.
5.5. In the event of a permanent failure of the meter, the Supplier is obligated to replace
it immediately charging the Customer’s bill, unless otherwise stipulated in the Special
Terms.
