Definitions

a. “Distribution Network Operator” or “DEDDIE S.A.”: The Société Anonyme
under the name “Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator S.A.”
(“DEDDIE S.A), which has been assigned with the operation of the Hellenic
electricity distribution network.
b. “Transmission System Operator” or “ADMIE S.A.”: The Société Anonyme
under the name “Independent Power Transmission Operator S.A.” (ADMIE
S.A.), which has been assigned with the operation of the Hellenic Electricity
Transmission System.
c. ‘Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator’ [‘HEDNO’,
‘EDDIE’]: it is the electricity distribution network of the Public Power
Corporation S.A. [DEI S.A.] which is installed in the Greek territory, which is
comprised of the medium- and low -voltage lines and of electricity distribution
installations as well as from high-voltage lines and installations which have
been included in this network. The Network, except for the network of the Non-
Interconnected Islands, is connected to the Hellenic Electricity Transmission
System via the high- and medium- voltage [HV/MV] substations.
d. “Hellenic Electricity Transmission System” or “ESMIE”: are the high
voltage transmission lines, the interconnections installed in the Greek Territory,
on land or in the sea, and all the installations, equipment and control facilities
required for the appropriate, safe and uninterrupted transmission of electricity
from a production plant to a substation, from a substation to another or to or
from any interconnection. The projects for the interconnection of Non-
Interconnected Islands with ESMIE are included in the ESMIE. The
Transmission System does not include the electricity generating power plants,
the high - voltage lines and installations included in the Distribution Network,
as well as the networks of the Non-Interconnected Islands.
e. Installation: the Customer’s installation, as it is stated in the application and /
or / in the special terms / annexes
f. “DAS”: Day Ahead Schedule
g. ‘Electricity Supply Code’: The Code (Decision in GGI B´832/9.04.2013) as
currently standing which arranges the rights and obligations of the Electricity
Suppliers and their Customers.
h. “Networks Operation Codes”: The Grid Control Code of the System, the
Power Exchange Code for Electricity, the Distribution Network Operation Code
and the Non-Interconnected Islands Operation Code, as currently standing.
i. “Market Operator”: The company under the name “Hellenic Energy
Exchange S.A.” (under article 96 et seq. of L. 4512/17.01.2018) (HEnEx S.A.)
and the company with the registered name Renewable Energy Sources and
Guarantees of Origin Operator (‘DAPEEP S.A.’).
